Ionut Radu Filip is an licensed architect currently president of the North-West Branch of the Romanian Order of Architects and teaching associate in the 4th year Design Studio at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning of Cluj-Napoca. He is the recipient of awards in national and international design competitions collaborating with sqma and the essentials together with the team in the fillip s concept practice which he founded.
He is interested with an acute sense of curiosity in various types and scales ranging from small interventions to urban design projects. Together with his colegues from sqma and the essentials he is currently working on transformation, extension and renovation of an historic building, an winery, some architecture competitions and several housing development projects.
